Pat Martino Article
Here's a little preview article I wrote about the great jazz guitarist Pat Martino coming to NIU to present a clinic. I gotta say, I kind of rushed through this one (It was keeping me from going to the Pumpkin Farm on Columbus Day).
I wear many hats. I'm a jazz drummer, first and foremost, but I'm also a singer-songwriter, music teacher, and internet radio programmer.
I grew up in Tucson, AZ, attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and now I live in the Chicago area.
I teach over 30 drum and guitar students per week and work at AccuRadio, a global-leading webcaster.
This blog, formerly titled "Cut/Paste/Repeat," was originally instated to be a drop-box for my writings at my college newspaper, but now it will be a drop-box for any array of content waiting to spring from my mind. I get a lot of new jazz CDs for free and see and perform live music regularly. I'm guessing posts will trend towards these subjects.
